1k for skills, still ok.
Simple really, do you think 1k for a skill once you reach that cap is a reasonable price, or with the recent changes do you think it needs looking at?
Yes i know that you can buy a few skills for cheap before you reach that cap, and you get some free ones in factions. The reason i made this is i just made a ranger in factions, and after the free skills, and after reaching the cap, i still have many more locked as unlocked including Elites.
Discuss?
1.5k ?
1k ?
750 ?
500 ?
1k / free capture signets ?
1k / 500 capture signets ?

IMO, 1k cap is fine, but I think it needs to get there a bit slower. I think the general rule should be you have about 4/5 of your main classes's skills is a lot better. I got to the 1k cap on my assassin without even starting on deadly arts skills. Not that they matter.

I think its fine, but I wish the Capture Signet wouldn't be needed to buy every time you use it, but you get a new one after each level/skill point

1K is way to much money.
i am a casual gamer and $$ is hard to come buy. i find that i dont have enuff $$ to buy all the things i need to have a decent playing experience.
lately i have been hitting up my brother for $$ and loot, i feel like such a dead beat!

farming for skills :P
But what if the skills you need for farming are too expensive? :P
As a "normal" player i don't have many money problems, but that is mainly because i can do everything with the cheap/bad looking stuff. But i can still do everything what a Fow armor wearer can do :P
The 1K thing is realy frustrating though, even more because you don't get many skills in factions. I was happy that they removed the "crappy weapon rewards" (except for the -50 hp offhand ) but the money which you get from quest just isn't enough to buy skills/a decent weapon/ armor .......
But alas, a free cap sig every level after 20 (otherwise you could cap barage in presearing :P)is a good idea, but they must be still buyable

1k is too much, not very casual-player-friendly...

I would have to say it is way to much for a casual game and that is meant for skill unlocks in PvP as everything is way to much eg, weapons. This is suppose to be a competive game instead it is turning into a MMO style where you have to spent a lot of time online to make money. That is way to much grind based on skill.I would like to see the price lowered as I am trying to save up for 15k armor and some of the new weapons at 5K with all the high price this has feel of Warcraft to it.I made a similiar thread.

Then agian if skills get nerfed like when I capped offering of blood that was waste of a skill cap if I had known I would of capped manta of recall.

I have to mention that seemed like a relatively pointless post. Maybe not everyone wants to farm constantly...? There are people who care you have FoW..?
Anyway, to the point. 1k isn't really THAT bad for skills I don't think..its more of a problem in factions since you don't have 1000 skill quests, but still not very hard to unlock a lot of skills. The last thing that I think needs to be done would be raising the price..I can't see a reason for that..
Lowering it would be better for those who are capital-impaired, but either way I don't think its really that significant. But since you can't sell skills or skillpoints, I also wouldn't mind it being lowered.

I like the 1k cap,
you can't get anything for free...ppl always complain that something is to expensive, something is to hard to get (look at the skill points) now in factions skill points are something you don't need anymore.
I like it that you will have to do some effort to get money for your skills and don't waste it on 15k armour if you are in money troubles.

1k would be fine if the quest rewards in factions also gave you skills, so you have a choice of doing a quest for the skill or paying 1k for it.
Right now in Factions, you don't have a choice and you're forced to buy the skills for 1k each.
In Prophecies, you can basically get most, and if not all the core skills by doing quests alone and not having to pay a single gold.
So yeah, Factions is fu*ked up that way.

1K is fine, and money is rediculously easy to get.
Get 1K Faction. Trade for Amber/Jadeite. Sell Amber/Jadeite. Shop for skill.
Simple. Money isn't a factor in Factions... there's plenty to get quickly.
